Evansville Reitz Panthers (Evansville, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Mt. Carmel Golden Aces (Mt. Carmel, IL), 49-47 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Evansville Reitz upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to North Harrison (Ramsey, IN) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 4-7. North Harrison lost 57-46 in their recent non-league match against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN)

The Golden Aces now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne City for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Mt. Carmel will face a Indians squad coming off a 63-47 non-league loss to Sandoval (Sandoval, IL). The Indians record now stands at 1-6.
