The Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Lowell Devils (Lowell, OR), 70-54 in Thursday's league test.
The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Waldport (Waldport, OR). The Irish go into the 2A Valley Coast test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Waldport went down by Siuslaw (Florence, OR), 55-21, in a non-league test.
The Devils now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Camas Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Lowell will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 59-39 non-league loss to Prospect (Prospect, OR). The Hornets record now stands at 4-3.
