The Hidden Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting South Umpqua Lancers to 46 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yreka for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Hidden Valley will battle a Miners team coming off a 92-43 non-league loss to Crater (Central Point, OR). The Miners record now stands at 6-6.
The Lancers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Far West contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Sutherlin dropped by Coquille (Coquille, OR), 60-35, in a league contest.
