In Friday's non-league match, the host Perkins County Plainsmen basketball team scored a decisive 58-26 triumph over the Wallace Wildcats.

In their next game, the Plainsmen meet the Leyton Warriors (Dalton, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 30. Perkins County will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 47-46 non-league loss to Arthur County (Arthur, NE).
