Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Presentation Toppers (Louisville, KY), 54-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Larue County upgrades its record to 2-9 on the season. The Hawks travel to Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Campbellsville lost 88-61 in their recent non-league bout against Hart County (Munfordville, KY)

Next up, the Toppers play the Whitefield Academy Wildcats (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Presentation will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 50-49 non-league loss to Silverdale Academy (Chattanooga, TN).
