In Monday's non-league test, the West Albany Bulldogs (Albany, OR) basketball squad trounced the visiting South Salem Saxons (Salem, OR), by a score of 64-39.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette game, on Friday, January 3. West Albany will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.

With the loss, South Salem falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Saxons host Ida B. Wells (Portland, OR) to confront the Guardians in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Guardians go into the game with a record of 3-2.
