Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pinelands Regional Wildcats (Tuckerton, NJ), 37-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Point Pleasant Beach upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Garnet Gulls travel to Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ) to clash with the Green Wave in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Long Branch lost 91-33 in their recent league bout against St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Brick Township Green Dragons (Brick, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Pinelands Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
