Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy sneaks past Philipsburg-Osceola

The Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy WolfPack (Boalsburg, PA) basketball edged the host Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA), 49-47 in Friday's non-league bout.

The WolfPack now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Branch for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy will play a Warriors team coming off a 94-64 league win over Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Philipsburg-Osceola falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Somerset (Somerset, PA) to play the Eagles in a Laurel Highlands bout on Friday, January 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Somerset lost 92-56 in their recent non-league bout against United (Armagh, PA)
