The Bauxite Miners basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Junction City Dragons to 42 in the Miners non-league triumph on Friday.

The Miners now have a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Dover for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.

With the loss, Junction City falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Hampton (Hampton, AR) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 8 game on Monday, January 6. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 11-6.
