In Friday's non-league contest, the host Rison Wildcats basketball team scored a good 68-55 win over the Monticello Billies.
The Wildcats (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Warren (Warren, AR). The Lumberjacks come into the non-league contest with a 2-11 record.
In their next game, the Billies battle the White Hall Bulldogs (White Hall, AR) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Monticello will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
