California High School Basketball - Gridley fells Wood

December 27, 2024: Gridley, CA 95948

The Gridley Bulldogs basketball team scored 36 points and limited the visiting Wood Wildcats to 16 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Dixon for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Gridley will confront a Rams team coming off a 38-32 non-league win over Pioneer (Woodland, CA). The Rams record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Wood falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host River City (West Sacramento, CA) to confront the Raiders in a game on Thursday, January 2. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 5-7. River City lost 74-12 in their recent non-league game against Folsom (Folsom, CA)
