Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL), 57-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lawrence County upgrades its record to 4-12 on the season. The Red Devils travel to East Lawrence (Trinity, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-4. East Lawrence lost 69-49 in their recent non-league bout against Danville (Danville, AL)

Next up, the Golden Bears play the Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) in a 2A Area 16 bout, on Friday, January 13. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
