In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA), by a margin of 50-48.
The Big Macs (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Beaver (Beaver, PA). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Beaver held off Shenango (New Castle, PA), 46-35, in a non-league outing.
The Jaguars now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Penn-Trafford for a WPIAL 5A 3 outing on Tuesday, January 3. Thomas Jefferson will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 46-38 non-league win over Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-1.
