Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penn Hills edges Greensburg Central Catholic

The Penn Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions (Greensburg, PA), 58-55 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA). The Foxes go into the WPIAL 5A 2 test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Fox Chapel got by Neighborhood Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 48-40, in a non-league test.

The Centurions now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Leechburg for a WPIAL 2A 3 test on Wednesday, January 3. Greensburg Central Catholic will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 52-51 non-league loss to Summit Academy (Herman, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-8.
