Nebraska High School Basketball - Kearney thwarted by Pius X

The Kearney Bearcats basketball team (Kearney, NE), dropped 54-40 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE)

The Thunderbolts now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Northeast for a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. Pius X will battle a Rockets team coming off a 47-40 non-league win over Columbus (Columbus, NE). The Rockets record now stands at 6-1.

The Bearcats (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against North Platte (North Platte, NE). The Bulldogs come into the A District TBD battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, North Platte dropped by Columbus (Columbus, NE), 51-44, in a league battle.
