With the win, Shawnee upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Valley (Louisville, KY) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Valley won 36-34 in their recent non-league bout against Brown (Louisville, KY)

Next up, the Red Hawks clash with the Waggener Wildcats (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Seneca will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 59-41 non-league win over Western (Louisville, KY).
