The Searcy Lions basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Batesville Pioneers to 32 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Southside for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Searcy will confront a Southerners team coming off a 68-61 non-league win over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR). The Southerners record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Batesville falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Beebe (Beebe, AR) to confront the Badgers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Badgers go into the game with a record of 7-7.
