In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Seymour Tigers basketball team scored a good 52-39 triumph over the Chamois Pirates.
The Tigers (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cabool (Cabool, MO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Cabool was toppled by Winona (Winona, MO), 58-24, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pirates confront the Calvary Lutheran Lions (Jefferson City, MO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Chamois will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 47-44 non-league loss to Veritas Christian Academy (O'Fallon, MO).
