The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY) and the visiting Todd County Central Rebels (Elkton, KY), observed Clay County's basketball team overwhelm Todd County Central by a score of 68-34.

The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Laurel (London, KY). The Jaguars come into the District 49 challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, North Laurel trounced Butler County (Morgantown, KY), 55-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rebels encounter the Jeffersontown Chargers (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, December 29. Todd County Central will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 74-54 non-league win over Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY).
