The North Stanly Comets basketball team scored 82 points and limited the host West Stanly Colts to 48 in the Comets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Comets now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to College Prep & Leadership Academy for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. North Stanly will play a Royals team coming off a 49-44 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Royals record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, West Stanly falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Colts host Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to play the Wolf Pack in a 2A/3A Rocky River game on Friday, January 3. The Wolf Pack go into the game with a record of 2-10. Parkwood won 55-52 in their recent non-league game against Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC)
