New Jersey High School Basketball - Highland Regional succumbs to Sterling

December 28, 2024: Blackwood, NJ 08072

The Sterling Silver Knights defeated the host Highland Regional Tartans basketball squad by a final score of 52-32 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Silver Knights clash with the Woodbury Thundering Herd (Woodbury, NJ) in a Colonial outing, on Friday, January 3. Sterling will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Thundering Herd come into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 66-42 non-league loss to Trinity Hall (Tinton Falls, NJ).

The Tartans (0-5) will now prepare for their outing against Timber Creek Regional (Erial, NJ). The Chargers come into the Tri-County - Liberty outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Timber Creek Regional was defeated by Allentown (Allentown, NJ), 44-37, in a non-league outing.
