With the victory, Monmouth Academy upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Mustangs host Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME) to face the Phoenix in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 31. The Phoenix enter the match with a record of 5-0. Spruce Mountain won 73-18 in their recent non-league match against Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME)

The Flyers now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Dominic for a D South match on Thursday, January 2. Waynflete will face a Saints squad coming off a 52-42 non-league loss to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Saints record now stands at 3-4.
