The Northern Guilford Nighthawks basketball squad (Greensboro, NC), was outscored 45-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting T.W. Andrews Red Raiders (High Point, NC)

With the victory, T.W. Andrews advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Red Raiders travel to North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC) to meet the Vikings in a 2A Mid-State battle on Friday, January 3. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 5-4. North Forsyth lost 78-19 in their recent non-league battle against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC)

The Nighthawks now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wakefield for a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. Northern Guilford will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 53-47 non-league win over Steward (Richmond, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-2.
