Nevada High School Basketball - Reno can't hold off Lowry

Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Reno Huskies (Reno, NV), 27-21 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lowry upgrades its record to 8-0 on the year. The Buckaroos travel to Douglas (Minden, NV) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 10-0. Douglas won 35-8 in their recent non-league match against McQueen (Reno, NV)

The Huskies now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reed for a match on Friday, January 3. Reno will face a Raiders squad coming off a 47-14 non-league win over Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Raiders record now stands at 1-4.
