The Anderson County Bearcats basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Robertson County Black Devils to 26 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bearcats now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Oldham for a non-league contest on Monday, January 2. Anderson County will battle a Dragons team coming off a 80-35 non-league win over East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 5-4.

The Black Devils (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Covington Latin (Covington, KY). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Covington Latin was routed by St. Patrick (Maysville, KY), 59-55, in a non-league contest.
