In Thursday's non-league outing, the Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) basketball squad beat the visiting DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI), by a count of 57-40.
The Mavericks (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI). The Vikings go into the Lakes Valley outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Walled Lake Central was topped by Groves (Beverly Hills, MI), 55-52, in a non-league outing.
