West Virginia High School Basketball - Summers County thwarted by Lincoln County

The Summers County Bobcats basketball team (Hinton, WV), was toppled 51-41 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV)

The Panthers now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ritchie County for a non-league battle on Friday, December 30. Lincoln County will confront a Rebels team coming off a 49-37 league win over Tyler (Sistersville, WV). The Rebels record now stands at 3-2.

The Bobcats (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tyler (Sistersville, WV). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Tyler was defeated by Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV), 49-37, in a league contest.
