The Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits basketball team (Long Beach, CA), was overwhelmed 60-28 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Rancho Verde Mustangs (Moreno Valley, CA)

The Mustangs now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Birmingham for a non-league battle on Friday, December 30. Rancho Verde will battle a Patriots team coming off a 55-52 non-league win over St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 7-4.

The Jackrabbits (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Lynwood (Lynwood, CA). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Lynwood smashed Edison (Huntington Beach, CA), 79-69, in a non-league outing.
