The Atlanta Rabbits basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Union Grove Lions to 26 in the Rabbits non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Rabbits now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hallsville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Atlanta will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 39-36 non-league loss to Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-15.

The Lions (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, Sulphur Springs toppled Hallsville (Hallsville, TX), 39-36, in a non-league challenge.
