Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] (Burlington Junction, MO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host North Andrew Cardinals (Rosendale, MO), 46-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The host St. Joseph Christian (St. Joseph, MO) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Albany Warriors (Albany, MO) in a Grand River bout, on Tuesday, January 3. North Andrew will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
