Uxbridge Spartans (Uxbridge, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Blue Hills RVT Warriors (Canton, MA), 54-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Uxbridge upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Prouty (Spencer, MA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Prouty lost 51-48 in their recent non-league bout against Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Keefe Tech Broncos (Framingham, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Blue Hills RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 56-43 non-league win over Tri-County RVT (Franklin, MA).
