The North Little Rock Charging Wildcats (North Little Rock, AR) basketball felled the host Northside Grizzlies (Fort Smith, AR), 71-55 in Friday's non-league test.
The Charging Wildcats (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Bryant (Bryant, AR). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 16-3 record. In their last test, Bryant thwarted Parkview (Little Rock, AR), 48-44, in a non-league test.
The Grizzlies now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rogers for a 6A West test on Tuesday, January 2. Northside will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 42-41 league loss to Bentonville West (Centerton, AR). The Mountaineers record now stands at 5-5.
