The Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars basketball team (Henderson, NV), was overwhelmed 58-14 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV)

The Greenwave now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elko for a 3A Northern - East battle on Friday, January 5. Churchill County will confront a Indians team coming off a 66-44 non-league loss to Idaho Falls (Idaho Falls, ID). The Indians record now stands at 5-3.

The Cougars (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Boulder City (Boulder City, NV). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Boulder City was overwhelmed by Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV), 49-35, in a non-league battle.
