In Friday's non-league match, the host Jennings County Panthers basketball team scored a decisive 60-22 triumph over the Lake Central Indians.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) in a Hoosier Hills match, on Wednesday, January 3. Jennings County will attempt to better on its 14-1 season record. The Stars enter the match with a 14-2 record after their 51-39 non-league win over Evansville Central (Evansville, IN).

With the defeat, Lake Central moves to 13-3 on the year. The Indians travel to Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN) to meet the Braves in a non-league match on Friday, December 29. The Braves enter the match with a record of 13-2. Indian Creek won 66-54 in their recent league match against Sullivan (Sullivan, IN)
