In Friday's non-league outing, the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic (Flourtown, PA) basketball squad felled the host Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic Friars/Pandas (Drexel Hill, PA), by a margin of 33-22.

The Magic (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Villa Maria Academy (Malvern, PA). The Hurricanes go into the Catholic Academies outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Villa Maria Academy was beaten by Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA), 58-54, in a non-league outing.
