St. Mary's Knights (Sleepy Eye, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN), 73-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Minnesota Valley Lutheran lost 82-48 in their recent league bout against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN)

Next up, the Knights play the Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
