Wheeler Mustangs (Wheeler, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pringle-Morse Cougars (Morse, TX), 61-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wheeler upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Sunray (Sunray, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Cougars play the West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Pringle-Morse will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Comanches come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 53-13 non-league loss to Clarendon (Clarendon, TX).
