Texas High School Basketball - Freer triumphant over La Villa

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX) and the visiting La Villa Cardinals (La Villa, TX), observed Freer's basketball team overwhelm La Villa by a score of 44-17.

The Buckaroos (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against IDEA Weslaco Pike (Weslaco, TX). The Mavericks come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, IDEA Weslaco Pike trounced Raymondville (Raymondville, TX), 36-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Santa Rosa Warriors (Santa Rosa, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 5. La Villa will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 61-6 league win over IDEA Frontier College Prep (Brownsville, TX).
