Virginia High School Basketball - Landstown overwhelmed by Neumann-Goretti

The Neumann-Goretti Saints basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Landstown Eagles to 31 in the Saints non-league victory on Friday.
The Saints now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lansdale Catholic for a Philadelphia Catholic contest on Thursday, January 5. Neumann-Goretti will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 60-24 non-league win over Villa Joseph Marie (Holland, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-1.
The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cox (Virginia Beach, VA). The Falcons come into the Beach contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Cox was routed by Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA), 51-30, in a league contest.
