The Mt. Carmel Cubs basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons to 28 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cubs now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern Lab for a non-league contest on Monday, January 2. Mt. Carmel will meet a Kittens team coming off a 63-55 non-league loss to John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA). The Kittens record now stands at 10-6.

The Falcons (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Chipmunks enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record.
