Ohio High School Basketball - Johnstown-Monroe knocked off by St. Francis DeSales

The St. Francis DeSales Stallions basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies to 59 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Stallions now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mifflin for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. St. Francis DeSales will battle a Punchers team coming off a 84-65 league loss to Beechcroft (Columbus, OH). The Punchers record now stands at 1-6.
The Johnnies (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Utica (Utica, OH). The Redskins enter the Licking County - Cardinal contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Utica ran past Horizon Science Academy (Columbus, OH), 58-54, in a non-league contest.
