North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina International tipped by Central Cabarrus

December 30, 2024: Concord, NC 28025

The Central Cabarrus Vikings nipped the visiting Carolina International Comets basketball squad by a final score of 63-60 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont outing, on Friday, January 3. Central Cabarrus will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 2-7 record after their 75-62 league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC).

The Comets (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league outing with a 12-5 record. In their last outing, Gaston Day was nipped by Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 79-70, in a non-league outing.
