Ohio High School Basketball - Lowellville overwhelms McKinley

The Lowellville Rockets basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host McKinley Trojans to 31 in the Rockets league triumph on Monday.

The Rockets now have a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hubbard for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Lowellville will confront a Eagles team coming off a 41-35 non-league loss to Howland (Warren, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, McKinley falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH) to confront the Blue Devils in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet game on Monday, January 6. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 6-4. Western Reserve won 67-44 in their recent non-league game against Badger (Kinsman, OH)
