Georgia High School Basketball - Pickens crushes Lumpkin County

The Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) basketball crushed the host Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), 61-34 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Dragons now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to White County for a AAA Region 6 bout on Friday, January 3. Pickens will play a Warriors team coming off a 71-34 non-league win over Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Lumpkin County falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Johnson (Gainesville, GA) to play the Knights in a AAA Region 6 bout on Friday, January 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-10. Johnson lost 46-31 in their recent non-league bout against Apalachee (Winder, GA)
