Colfax Vikings (Colfax, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Whitehall Norse (Whitehall, WI), 63-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Colfax upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Durand-Arkansaw (Durand, WI) to play the Panthers in a Dunn-St. Croix bout on Thursday, December 7. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Durand-Arkansaw lost 72-62 in their recent non-league bout against Arcadia (Arcadia, WI)

Next up, the Norse play the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs (Melrose, WI) in a Dairyland - Large bout, on Friday, December 8. Whitehall will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 49-37 league win over Eleva-Strum (Strum, WI).
