The Quitman Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Pottsville Apaches to 43 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to White County Central for a 2A Region 5 game on Friday, December 6. Quitman will confront a Bears team coming off a 63-24 non-league loss to Pangburn (Pangburn, AR). The Bears record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Pottsville falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Apaches host Abundant Life (North Little Rock, AR) to confront the Owls in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Owls go into the game with a record of 0-2. Abundant Life lost 41-20 in their recent non-league game against Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR)
