In Thursday's non-league test, the Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM), by a score of 54-15.

Next, the Hawks encounter the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 7. Laguna Acoma will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Pirates come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 46-41 non-league loss to Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).
