With the victory, Tonganoxie upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Wamego (Wamego, KS) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Wamego won 50-27 in their recent non-league bout against Sabetha (Sabetha, KS)

Next up, the Phoenix play the Eudora Cardinals (Eudora, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Atchison will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 51-40 non-league win over Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS).
