Eastwood Eagles (Pemberville, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH), 49-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Eastwood upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Rossford (Rossford, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Northern Buckeye bout on Saturday, December 10. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Rossford lost 59-14 in their recent league bout against Lake (Millbury, OH)

Next up, the Comets clash with the Otsego Knights (Tontogany, OH) in a Northern Buckeye bout, on Saturday, December 17. Genoa Area will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
