The Mountain Heritage Cougars basketball squad (Burnsville, NC), was tipped 47-40 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC)

The Bears (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Smoky Mountain was tipped by North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC), 45-36, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Watauga for a non-league outing on Friday, December 9. Mountain Heritage will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 47-43 non-league win over A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-0.
